Car racing is one of the most popular sports in the world. This is because organizers are able to draw a crowd of 250,000 people in a single event with millions more watching at home.
There is a lot to know about this sport. For one, car racing has been going on for more than a hundred years and in that span of time, a lot of things have changed.
The automobiles of today were not as sophisticated as it was in the late 19th century. People will be able to see the difference in the way manufacturers design the racecars using computer graphics, equip it with bigger engines and utilize high performance fuel making these machines go faster than it ever did before.
A good place to know about the changes will be in books, on television or the Internet. However, the best resource among the three that contains a lot of information is the web because search engines are able to upgrade and upload new information about the sport.
The websites do not only contain historical facts and pictures. Some will test the individual's knowledge otherwise known as car racing trivia which can determine who among the many fans out there really know a lot about the sport.
One question might be who won the grand prix in 1915? This might be easy to answer so a great follow up will also ask the person the type of car used for that race.
Another tough question could be which driver was able to win back-to-back

Surely, it will take some time to do some research to find the answers to these questions. Those who don't have the time can wait till someone comes up with the answer and add that to the other things that the person knows about car racing.
The sites that feature autoracing trivia don't only offer answers to race fans. People who visit the site may either ask questions or post updates that will also be worth knowing by everyone.
The individual may not get a prize or cash for posting anything. The information provided though will surely educate those who thought that there is nothing else to know about the sport.
Auto racing can be touring, stock car, drag, kart or off road. Since each of these events are very different, there is a lot for the person to know in order to become an expert.
By reading up and being up to date, the individual will surely learn everything there is to know regardless of the kind of event it is. Though this may take some time, it will all be worth it in the long term.
People will come up and ask the person questions instead of being the one without a clue about anything making one just helplessly look at the one who has this information in the head.
