Racing Circuit: What Every Car Racing Hobbyist Should Know

By Toby Trumbill
In tennis, there are different kinds of courts. There's the hard court which is used at the Australian and US Open. The clay court for the French Open. Finally grass in Wimbledon.

With motor racing, there are a variety of kinds of circuits. Just as a tennis player's skill is affected by the ground he is playing on, a racer's ability to maneuver his vehicle is also dependent upon to the circuit he is racing in.

In road racing, short races usually last for an hour or possibly even less. These competitions last two to three days. By and large, they use closed road circuits. Closed road circuits are not attached to any public road. In that way, the racer can ride safely.

When a racer is also just a beginner, he is encouraged to train in closed road circuits for the reason that he can gain his own skills and tactics when it comes to maneuvering his vehicle in different terrains and weather conditions.

Typically, oval circuits are utilized in formula 1 racing, as well as go-kart racing. Its normal shape is oval making it easier for the racer to turn. It is also out in the open.

However, there are some circuits, most of which those that are used in professional racing, that have other shapes aside from the oval. It can be somehow triangular or rectangular. It can also be squiggly or zigzag. The point is these circuits challenge the racers' control over their cars.

If you are a gamer and you have a racing car video game, there is usually the option to choose which circuit you would drive on. Sometimes the circuits they feature on the video game are modeled from those used by NASCAR . If you are a gamer you know that making sharp turns is hard. Now that's just on video game (kudos to game

If you've seen the movie "Cars," notice how they struggle to overlap one another but at the same time concentrating on the endurance of their engine and their tires. In one scene, the former champion The King was overtaken, toppled over and had almost gone off course.

One of the challenges for a race car driver is to not let this happen. Resistance to the factors affecting him such as his competition and the direction of the circuit must encourage him to man his wheel better.

The more turns the circuit has, the harder it is for the cars to overtake one another. It is also dangerous for them because one wrong turn can mean their cars going off course and bursting in flames. Turns can be deadly, better safe than sorry!

Most of the time race car drivers do the overtaking whenever the path lay straight ahead. There are only a few professional F1 drivers who can take over their competition as they also make a sharp turn around the circuit.

The terrain on any sport must not be a challenge for the contender. Instead, it must be a motivation for him to do better in his field. A focused mind is one of the most powerful forces in the universe. Take for example, tennis. If you are not a grass player, that is no excuse for you to get bested in the first round of Wimbledon.

Same goes out for racing. even if you are used to going round and round the oval laps, it does not mean that you will have a harder time maneuvering your car in the squiggly-shaped ones. The more versatile you are, the farther you'll go in your career and in life. If you can drive through whatever circuits, only then you are officially a versatile race car driver. I hope this rep[ort on about car racing circuits was helpful and informative.
